Calendar of Events
Our program provides our high school students with cultural activities, educational tours, and field trips that help participants enhance the critical thinking that allows students to make independent decisions and advocate for themselves; and help students solve problems and overcome obstacles that would otherwise interfere with their learning.

The SAEOPP Upward Bound Program is dedicated to seeing 100% of its program participants’ graduate from high school, continue to college, and graduate with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree. Moreover, it is expected that our program participants will become social change agents and leaders, impacting their communities with the mindset that a college going expectation is within their grasp. These societal leaders and change agents will think and act critically, and continue to advance their knowledge through advanced degrees, trainings, and life-long education.
Students
As a participant, you will quickly learn it takes more than good grades to become a college graduate. Your Upward Bound experience will teach you the facts about college admission and the skills required to succeed in college.

Our parents are the heart and soul of our program. Our students can only be successful IF their parents are behind them 100%

The SAEOPP Upward Bound Program Team crafts specific sessions to assist our students in maximizing their opportunity to be successful in college.
Aspiring Upward Bound Students
Our program provides opportunities for students through comprehensive, holistic experiences to prepare them intellectually, culturally, and socially and help guide the students toward the goal of college attendance and completion.
Parent Information
We cannot function without the input and support of our parents. The SAEOPP Upward Bound program services are offered at NO COST to high school students who demonstrate an academic need for our services and have the potential and desire to pursue and complete post-secondary education at a college or university.
